Jorunn Kristoffersen, Alexander Technique teacher, Stratford-upon-Avon

Jorunn Kristoffersen

Jorunn is based in Stratford upon Avon. She teaches there and in surrounding areas.

She became interested in the Alexander Technique through classical singing and it brought her to London. She completed her training at Misha Magidov’s North London Teacher’s Training Course in 2003.

In Stratford, Jorunn has worked with actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company as well as maintaining a private practise. Clients often come for help with back and neck related problems, and she has also worked with riders, musicians, office workers, dancers, teachers, and people suffering from stress. Many find the technique offers beneficial “side effects”: better digestion, better sleep patterns, improved circulation, flexibility in stiff joints.

She is offering one-to-one sessions and would consider giving lessons to small groups of participants with some experience of the technique. She also gives talks and workshops for larger groups.
